What kind of certificate of origin should I apply for export

For goods exported from China to Japan, you can apply for RCEP certificate of origin or general certificate of origin CO

1. RCEP Certificate of Origin:
    RCEP certificate of origin refers to the certificate of origin of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement(RCEP). The RCEP Certificate of Origin is mutually recognized among the RCEP member countries, and can reduce tariffs and other taxes. China and Japan are both members of the RCEP. If the goods exported from China to Japan meet the requirements of the RCEP country of origin, they can apply for the RCEP certificate of origin to enjoy the corresponding preferential treatment

2. General Certificate of Origin CO:
    The general certificate of origin is issued by China Customs or CCPIT to prove the origin of goods and meet certain standards. This certificate is applicable to most trade agreements, including the free trade agreement between China and Japan. The only drawback is that it cannot enjoy tariff preferences
